Two women share their deepest thoughts while trying to channel the emotions they feel over the violent way farm animals are gassed to death on factory farms.

This is what pigs look like after being gassed to death

Guest essay by McKenna Grace Fisher
This is what Pigs look like after being gassed to death ~ They gasped for air as their insides were burned and their life painfully and brutally sucked out of their very souls ~ They are the VICTIMS ~ YOU THE FLESH EATER ARE THE REASON THEY’RE MURDERED ~ They never wanted to die and gave no consent, nor would they if asked and could speak the human language ~ Such a BETRAYAL BY OUR SPECIES CALLED HUMAN, BUT NEVER HUMANE ~ Make your connection today, watch “Earthlings” here www.nationearth.com
and learn exactly what you’ve been taught NOT to care about, the Animals you consume ~ Food’s Grown, Not Born ~ RIP poor souls, Vegans are doing everything we can to change hearts and minds of the human species ~ Ashamed of my past use of you and unafraid to speak for you ~ I love every species of Animal on this Planet, do you?

Holocaust = Zolocaust

How like the human Inhumane Holocaust,
The innocent life murdered in the Zolocaust.

A daughter of survivors of that pain,
I am haunted by it again and again.

Because in each pile of gassed pig or cow,
Echo the murder of family then and now.

The Holocaust and Zolocaust converge,
In death transport and pain not purged.

Concentration camp blurred into Factory Farm,
Piles of hair merge in to fur rise the alarm.

Images double exposed burned into my soul,
Deafening cries, I hear them in anguish all call.

They reach out to me from beyond the veil,
Halt the horror for all life to heal.

My heart broken – I cry out to you,
Please join me to end the Zolocaust too.

Breeding Nigerian dwarf goats for their babies, like this tiny kid, is profitable but wrong

Breeding Nigerian dwarf goats for all the wrong reasons

From what I observed through their writing, bloggers who express views about Nigerian dwarf goats believe the animals have no inherent worth of their own and, instead, are birthed into being for the express purpose of serving the whims of humans.

Nigerian dwarf goats – they are gentle, lovable, and exploited

We seem to be hell-bent on negating the obvious: namely, that animals are capable of a range of emotions, that they feel joy and sadness, have unique personalities, likes and dislikes, and care about others. They feel pain and despair, suffer loss – of family, friends, freedom, and ultimately their lives – all because we see them only as providers.

Artistic expression can reach the depths of our souls in a way that words cannot. Through their art, artists expose us to feelings and struggles and remind us of the power we hold to change the world. Artists featured in Vegan Storyteller’s Gallery of Vegan ARTivists respond to veganism’s impact on people, animals, and the environment.
